The open sea beach is accessible through the Búzios / Cabo Frio road, about ten kilometers from Downtown. It is protected and lies within the Pau-Brasil Environmental Protection Area (APA). The main patrons are guests of the resort that exists there and who like to enjoy the bar, kiosks and volleyball net available at the beach.
