A pretty beach with good waves, inside the Emerências Ecological Reserve. Access is by the Búzios/Cabo Frio road, about 2.5 kms after the Búzios City Entrance. The name of the beach comes from a slave dealer, José Gonçalves, who used the beach for dealing slaves.
