A continuation of Rasa and Baia Formosa beaches, Manguinhos has good and constant winds and is home to the headquarters of the Búzios Vela Clube. Other activities, like kite surfing, are also practiced there.
The wide strip of sand encourages walking, especially at dusk when the sunset is lovely.
Manguinhos is also home to the Porto da Barra, a food complex with starred restaurants, bars, deck, pier and fish market, as well as beautiful landscaping and lighting design.
